摘要: Purpose The study aimed to determine whether detectable concentrations of colchicine are present in the tear fluid treated patients with familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) and thus demonstrate a possible route by which reaches corneal surface. Methods Tear samples (50-100 microL) were collected from eight FMF on long-term treatment. Colchicine determined all radioimmunoassay using goat anticolchicine antibodies [3H]colchicine (Dupont, Wilmington, DE). Results Detectable colchicine, no apparent effect ocular surface, found (median, 0.46 ng/mL; range, 0.24-1.05 ng/mL). Conclusions This provides evidence given systemically, surface gives credence inhibitory this drug wound healing cases described literature.
