摘要: Video data is transcoded on the fly to produce a progressive download viewed while being received streaming and/or may be downloaded and played later. An analyser analyses portion of an input video file determine coded characteristics encoded determines expected volume. A generator generates header for output that includes indication volume thereof. transcoder transcodes data. The interface supplies with as stream receiving device. In first embodiment, in overestimated blank chunks added. alternative underestimated compression parameters are modified during transcoding process.
