摘要: Background Diet diversity (DD) during infancy may prevent food allergies (FA), possibly by exposing the gastrointestinal microbiota to diverse foods and nutrients. Objective To investigate association between 4 different measures of DD development FA over first decade life. Methods A birth cohort born 2001 2002 were followed prospectively, providing information on sociodemographic, environmental, dietary exposures. Information age introduction a range allergens was collected infancy. Children assessed for at 1, 2, 3, 10 years. defined using in year life: World Health Organization definition minimum 6 months, as (FD) fruit vegetable (FVD) 6, 9 allergen (FAD) 9, 12 months. Results total 969 pregnant women recruited 12-week gestation. 900, 858, 891, 827 offspring Univariate analysis showed that (P = .0047), FD .0009), FAD .0048), FVD .0174) months .0392), .0233), (.0163) significantly reduced odds 3 not associated with FA, but only 33% had solid introduced this age. Conclusion Increased infant DD, measured methods, decreased likelihood developing FA.
