Tunneling observations of delayed flux entry and surface barriers in Nb3Sn

摘要: The results of a study flux entry into Nb3Sn using tunneling are described. It is found that barriers to as large 170 mT, well in excess the lower critical field Hcl, possible bulk Nb3Sn. Important details magnetic dependence surface barrier also reported.
