摘要: Little is known about the immediate effects of whole-brain γ-irradiation. The authors hypothesize that Egr1 as an early gene and microglia both participate in reactions. Both, expression cellular distribution were studied a temporal sequence different brain regions rats subjected to irradiation with 10 Gy. Brain tissue was examined using immunohistochemistry, real-time RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction), Western blotting. Astroglia oligodendroglia showed increased immunoreactivity within first hours following irradiation. This accompanied by strong peak CD68 histologically attributable activated microglia. A high constitutive protein nuclei neurons reduced demonstrated significantly levels egr1-lv neuronal activity-related mRNA variant. induction glial cells, well activation take place earlier than histological changes reported so far. revealed reactions point toward initiation inflammatory response including activity.
