Labour attraction and retention in rural and remote Queensland communities

摘要: Attracting and retaining a skilled labour force is critical yet complex issue for rural remote communities. This article reports the findings of study investigating current approaches to attraction retention in two separate Australian regions. Building on previously developed models, this research analyses roles employers wider communities are playing, or potentially could play, addressing issues that influence shortages. The highlight complexities emphasise need businesses work together overcome shortages locations.
