Tanshinone IIA and tanshinone I production by Trichoderma atroviride D16, an endophytic fungus in Salvia miltiorrhiza

摘要: In this study the isolation of an endophytic fungus from root medicinal herb Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge is reported for first time. The produced tanshinone I and IIA in rich mycological medium (potato dextrose broth) under shake flask bench scale fermentation conditions. was identified as Trichoderma atroviride by its morphology authenticated ITS analysis (ITS1 ITS2 regions intervening 5.8S rDNA region). Tanshinone were HPLC LC-HRMS/MS confirmed through comparison with authentic standards. This has significant scientific industrial potential to meet pharmaceutical demands a cost-effective, easily accessible reproducible way.
