摘要: Abstract Silver nanoparticles (NPs) were deposited on nickel, titanium and gold substrates using a potentiostatic double-pulse method. The influence of the support material both morphology electrocatalytic activity Ag NPs for reduction reaction benzyl bromide was investigated compared with previous research regarding silver glassy carbon. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) data indicated that spherical monodispersed obtained Ni, Au GC substrate an average particle size respectively 216 nm, 413 nm 116 nm. On Ti dendritic larger density 480 nm. tested by means cyclic voltammetry (CV) benzylbromide (1 mM) in acetonitrile + 0.1 M tetrabutylammonium perchlorate (Bu 4 NClO ). When nucleation potential ( E n ) applied at high cathodic overpotential, positive shift obtained. t growth time g mostly had current whereas longer deposition times lead to densities. For these three parameters optimum present. best Ni peak 145 mV measured comparance bulk silver. yielded 114 mV. There no indication altered mechanism as characterized diffusion controlled transfer coefficients accordance beneficial catalitic due interplay between NPs. This resulted 34 mV (Ag Au) 65 mV Ni) substrate.
