摘要: Abstract A two-step procedure at room temperature was applied to prepare a bimetallic Pt-Cu carbon-supported catalyst (Pt-Cu/C). First the chemical reduction of Cu ions by sodium borohydride in presence Vulcan XC72R carbon powder is performed. Second, partial galvanic replacement particle layers Pt achieved upon immersion chloroplatinate solution. The characterisation Pt-Cu/C XRD and XPS proves formation alloying. electrochemical active surface area (EASA) determined for transmetalation as well commercial Pt/C from Alfa Aesar HiSpec ® product line. resemblance voltammetry an indication rich shell. catalytic activity towards oxygen reaction both catalysts evaluated using linear sweep (LSV) combination with rotating disc electrode.
