摘要: Abstract Objectives: Heparin coating of the cardiopulmonary bypass circuit is shown to improve biocompatibility surface. We have studied a new heparin surface, Corline Surface, applied complete set an extracorporeal device used during coronary artery grafting in terms activation inflammation, coagulation, and fibrinolysis patients shed mediastinal blood. Methods: Sixty scheduled for were randomized one 3 groups with heparin-coated devices receiving either standard, high, or low dose systemic uncoated but otherwise identical standard heparin. Samples drawn before, during, after operation from pericardial cavity No autotransfusion blood was performed. Results: The Surface significantly reduced fibrinolysis, platelets, inflammation compared that seen surface combination cardiac surgery bypass. Both decrease increase coated resulted higher these processes. A expression all parameters found at same time. Conclusions: proved be more biocompatible than when using dose. might not sufficient maintain antithrombotic activity, high direct cell rather further anti-inflammatory anticoagulatory effect.
