摘要: Abstract 1. A simple, highly sensitive, specific fluorometric method for the determination of chymotrypsin is described. 2. The new substrate utilized in this assay, N -glutaryl-glycyl-glycyl-L-phenylalanine β-naphthylamide (GGPNA), readily soluble water, stable and chymotrypsin. It not degraded by a large excess carboxypeptidase B, elastase, thrombin or plasmin virtually resistant to trypsin. 3. GGPNA extremely sensitive action permits detection enzyme concentrations as low 1 ng/ml. Linearity between concentration fluorescence produced maintained up at least 3000 4. α 2 -Macroglobulin-bound hydrolyzes rate about 3 that exhibited free enzyme. 5. Bile pigments amounts normally found duodenal juice traces blood do interfere with assay. 6. which releases β-naphthylamine upon hydrolysis suitable also colorimetric histological
