摘要: Accurate control of tissue-specific gene expression plays a pivotal role in heart development, but few cardiac transcriptional enhancers have thus far been identified. Extreme noncoding-sequence conservation has successfully predicted that are active many tissues failed to identify substantial numbers heart-specific enhancers. Here, we used ChIP-Seq with the enhancer-associated protein p300 from mouse embryonic day 11.5 tissue over 3,000 candidate genome wide. Compared other studied at this time point, most were less deeply conserved vertebrate evolution. Nevertheless, transgenic assays 130 regions revealed function reproducibly as heart, irrespective their degree evolutionary constraint. These results provide evidence for large population poorly and suggest can vary depending on type.
