摘要: Abstract Human normal and transformed (Caco-2) colon tissues as well guinea pig gastric mucosal cells express Nox1, which is a homolog of the phagocyte NADPH oxidase subunit, gp91phox membrane-bound cytochrome b558. It was reported that Nox1-transfection to NIH 3T3 could provide O2−-generating ability, independently regulatory cytosolic factors (Rac2, p67phox, p47phox) are obligatory in system. Here, we detected sequenced p67phox Caco-2 almost identical neutrophil sequence, except for three nucleotide substitutions, two changed lysines 181 328 arginines. Investigation its ability support O2−-generation cell-free reconstitution experiments combining with b558 showed O2−-generation, provided recombinant p47phox added. This result demonstrates intrinsic able function The requirement addition suggested this component absent cells. membranes, used source Nox1 place b558, did not show significant mainly explained by their very little expression.
