摘要: Abstract Enzymic degradation of Azotobacter capsular polysaccharide by the depolymerases from azotophage lysates A . vinelandii , and a strain chroococcum was examined. The molecular size examined sieve chromatography both before after exposure to capsule depolymerase. depolymerase appears attack substrate in random fashion which results fragments distribution. ester linkages hexuronic acids were proportionally same all fractions degradation, but absent smaller molecules enzyme action. not bonds broken enzyme, but, case some enzymes, they appeared play role activity, possibly as recognition sites.
