摘要: Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a sterile bladder condition that occurs primarily in women. It characterized by intense urinary frequency, urgency, burning, and suprapubic pain.56,61,74 The two most plausible, but not mutually exclusive, theories to explain the pathophysiology of IC are: (a) some defect protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer mucosa,50 (b) an increased number activated mast cells.69 patients also suffer from allergies,40 irritable inflammatory bowel syndrome, migraines,70 all which are exacerbated stress.70,74
