摘要: Avian erythroblastosis virus (AEV) induces acute erythroleukemia and sarcomas in vivo it transforms erythroblasts fibroblasts vitro. The has two host cell-derived genes, v-erbA v-erbB. latter encodes the oncogenic capacity of virus, whereas enhances erythroblast transforming effects v-erbB while being unable to induce neoplasms independently. Recently, human cellular homologues these viral erb genes have been isolated. chromosomal locations determined using EcoRI-digested DNA prepared from human-mouse somatic cell hybrids. c-erbA1 gene assigned chromosome 17 is located between 17p11 17q21. c-erbB sequence 7 7pter 7q22. Thus, genome are on separate chromosomes. No evidence for involvement c-erb neoplasia found.
