摘要: All the same, prima facie dislike for corruption may appear odd.For economists generally prefer nes over imprisonment, other things beingequal, as former are essentially a transfer (to public purse), whilethe latter constitutes waste of resources [16]. But case can be made thatcorruption is also [5, 61-64], and that at very leastthe bene ts accruing to recipients bribes cannot ignored { theliterature on generally, quite conveniently, does.
