摘要: Abstract Eukaryotic cell cycle progression requires the periodic activation and inactivation of a protein-serine/threonine kinase which in fission yeast is encoded by cdc2+ gene. The activity this gene product, p34cdc2, controlled numerous interactions with other proteins its phosphorylation state. In yeast, p34cdc2 phosphorylated on two sites, one has been identified as Tyr15. Dephosphorylation Tyr15 regulates initiation mitosis.
