摘要: The cultivation of genetically modified crops in Brazil has led to the need assess impacts this technology on non-target species. Under field conditions, potential effect insect biodiversity was evaluated by comparing a homogeneous corn with conventional and transgenic maize, expressing different Bt proteins seven counties Minas Gerais, Brazil. richness pattern species, secondary pests natural enemies were observed. results do not support hypothesis that protein affects biodiversity. diversity data insects studied dependent location other factors, such as use insecticides, which may be major factor where they are used.
