摘要: Abstract Yellow-bellied cotton rats ( Sigmodon fulviventer ) from riparian habitats of a southwest New Mexican canyon have mystacial vibrissae that move well forward the animals' noses when are placed in water. These excellent swimmers and centrifugal stress alone has little or no effect on their aquatic behaviour.
