Do people with traditional values suffer more from job insecurity? The moderating effects of traditionality

摘要: This study aimed to explore the consequences of job insecurity in Chinese context, and focused on moderating effect traditionality, an individual-level cultural value. A series regression analyses data from 388 subordinate–supervisor dyads China revealed that was negatively related employees’ well-being, its negative relation with organizational citizenship behaviours (OCB) nonsignificant. Furthermore, it found traditionality significantly exacerbated relationships between OCB. Specifically, employees high traditional values suffered more health OCB performances insecurity. These results suggested played important role dynamics transitional society.
