摘要: We investigated individual differences in adherence to masculine norms (AMN) as predictors of concurrent and prospective depressive symptoms above beyond negative attributional style explanatory flexibility a community sample unemployed men. Sixty-two men from diverse ethnic socioeconomic backgrounds were recruited an unemployment center large industrial city followed for 3 months. Adherence the specific emotional control self-reliance accounted variance after statistically controlling processes. At 3-month follow-up, only AMN predicted accounting processes initial symptoms. Negative was negatively associated with likelihood reemployment at follow-up while positively reemployment.
