Patient Satisfaction with Telerehabilitation Assessments for Wheeled Mobility and Seating

摘要: Wheeled mobility and seating assessments for individuals with impairments living in rural or distant locations are problematic due to the lack of expertise available resources. The objective this study was measure satisfaction based on one's evaluation prescription as well comfort level when being evaluated by telerehabilitation (TR). Patient data from real-time interactive TR clinical consultations between an expert practitioner located at least 125 miles away four remote wheelchair clinics set up research team were collected evaluated. results revealed that there a statistically significant difference participants' pre- postevaluation scores, t(39) = -13.92, p < .05, postprescription -13.15, .05. In addition, all mean scores significantly higher than scale midpoint of3.5 survey. study's findings consistent those previous telemedicine studies. Overall, indicate high patient using TR.
