摘要: ABSTRACT Nanocomposites of polypropylene (PP) and vermiculite (VMT) were successfully prepared by solid-state shear compounding (S3C) using pan-mill equipment without any compatibilizer. The structure morphology nanocomposites determined X-ray diffraction scanning transmission electron microscopy techniques, the crystallization behavior composites was differential calorimetry; thermal mechanical properties are also presented in paper. results show that VMT sheets partly exfoliated solid state intercalated formed PP matrix PP/VMT copowders, indicating S3C is a novel method to prepare polymer/vermiculite nanocomposites.
