摘要: Enterococci have evolved over eons as highly adapted members of the gastrointestinal consortia a wide variety hosts—humans and other mammals, birds, reptiles insects—but for reasons that are not entirely clear, they emerged in 1970s some leading causes multidrug-resistant, hospital-acquired infections. The taxonomy enterococci has changed considerably past ten years, genus now includes forty distinct species with various habitats, tropisms, metabolic phenotypic characteristics. These habitats include animal hosts, well plants, soil water, man-made products, including fermented foods dairy products. Antibiotic-resistant strains many these novel resistance mechanisms isolated alarming regularity. As result, relationship between non-therapeutic use antibiotics occurrence non-human is substantial interest.
