摘要: Enterococci have evolved over eons as highly adapted members of the gastrointestinal consortia a wide variety hosts—humans and other mammals, birds, reptiles insects—but for reasons that are not entirely clear, they emerged in 1970s some leading causes multidrug-resistant, hospital-acquired infections.
