Percutaneous Ablation of Adrenal Tumors

摘要: Adrenal tumors comprise a broad spectrum of benign and malignant neoplasms include functional adrenal adenomas, pheochromocytomas, primary adrenocortical carcinoma, metastases. Percutaneous ablative approaches that have been described used in the treatment percutaneous radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, microwave chemical ablation. Local tumor ablation gland presents unique challenges, secondary to gland's anatomic physiological features. The results clinical series employing techniques are reviewed this article. Clinical technical considerations presented, including commonly our practices, risks potential complications discussed.
