摘要: Exercise training is known to increase fat utilization during exercise. Diets containing antioxidants and branch chain amino acids (BCAAs) are also reported have potential effects on utilization. Cashew apple juice (CAJ) comprises many nutritional components including vitamin C BCAAs. This study aimed investigate the effect of CAJ supplementation substrate high-intensity exercise in trained untrained subjects. Ten ten men were randomly supplemented with either placebo (PLA) or at 3.5 ml/kg body mass (BM) /day for 4 weeks a 4-week washout between treatments randomized cross-over design. Before after supplementations all subjects performed cycling 85% maximal oxygen consumption 20 minutes. At rest, before, immediately exercise, venous blood samples taken determine glucose, insulin lipid concentrations. Expired air was collected 20 minutes calculate During both groups, there lower carbohydrate (CHO) higher oxidation rates contributions total energy expenditure compared PLA (p<0.05). These values greater group than except CHO (p<0.05), which not significantly different. Moreover, resting plasma concentrations supplementation, without any change supplementation. There no significant differences groups’ samples. The findings this suggest that enhanced may enhance endurance performance, but specific studies needed assess possibility.
