Comparative effects on TXA2 biosynthesis of products extracted from Lippia multiflora moldenke leaves

摘要: The effects of the total phenolic extract (TPLi) from Lippia multiflora leaves and its 2 main components i.e. Verbascoside (VLi) Lil on TXA2 biosynthesis were studied. was induced by incubation arachidonic acid with horse platelet microsomes (HPM), TXB2, a stable metabolite TXA2, determined using RIA. Under experimental conditions adopted, did not significantly modify biosynthesis. On contrary, both inhibited Their action dose-related, being more potent. ID50 1.19 +/- 0.08 mg/ml 10.64 0.64 for respectively. study regression curves representing hypotensive anti-thromboxane synthetase activity versus log(dose) TPLi suggested that would likely be responsible action. Its antithromboxane could considered as major contributor to mechanism this effect.
