摘要: The morphogen retinoic acid (RA) regulates gene transcription by interacting with specific nuclear receptors that recognize DNA sequences near responsive promoters. While much has recently been learned about the receptor proteins, little is known genes are directly regulated RA and their cis-acting response elements recognized these receptors. Here we have analyzed receptor-β (RARβ) promoter controlled RA. We find a RA-responsive element (RARE) located adjacent to TATA box.
