Temperature-dependent Raman and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy studies on phase transition behavior of VO2 films with M1 and M2 phases

摘要: Structural and electronic phase transitions behavior of two polycrystalline VO2 films, one with pure M1 the other M2 at room temperature, were investigated by temperature-controlled Raman spectroscopy ultraviolet photoelectron (UPS). We observed characteristic transient dynamics in which modes 195 cm−1 (V-V vibration) 616 cm−1 (V-O showed remarkable hardening along temperature film, indicating rearrangements V-V pairs VO6 octahedra. It was also shown that mode frequency approached those invariant peaks before entering rutile phase. In UPS spectra high energy resolution 0.03 eV for narrower V3d band together smaller gap compared to supporting nature Mott insulator even film. Cooperative lattice transition suggested
