摘要: The growth of Anisakis simplex L3 larvae in the three paratenic hosts saithe (Pollachius virens), cod (Gadus morhua) and redfish (Sebastes marinus) was studied based on material collected off island Vega west coast Norway over a period 1 year. In all fish species, positive correlation between length age shown. number large larvae, here defined as L3>28 mm, increases with increasing host. These findings clearly indicate an accumulation larval were additionally grouped according to tissue – muscle, liver or other viscera they located in. When average lengths groups compared, gadoids had somewhat higher values for found liver. Redfish, hand, which store fat relatively degree viscera, highest this tissue. lowest species musculature. trends suggest that A. is positively correlated content it encapsulated. Of host included study, seemed be best suited L3, rate parasite greatest species. least pronounced while held intermediate position.
