摘要: To assess the new taxonomy of Monopetalanthus proposed by Wieringa, a phylogenetic study was performed using chloroplast trnL intron and psbA-trnH spacer, nuclear ITS region 18-26S rDNA. The phylogeny clearly indicates polyphyletic nature Monopetalanthus. molecular data support transfer M. longiracemosus to Tetraberlinia newly defined Aphanocalyx, which now includes all previous species having leaflets with marginal vein. Our analyses do not monophyly described genus Bikinia, four six transferred from Bikinia occurs either as paraphyletic (chloroplast DNA data) or monophyletic group that also monotypic Icuria sister (ITS data). Nonetheless, generally supports Wieringa in subdividing into distinct groups, none retains name
