摘要: The Vav family is a group of signal transduction molecules with oncogenic potential that play important roles in development and cell signaling. Members this are distributed all animal metazoans but not unicellular organisms. Recent genomic studies suggest the function proteins co-evolved tyrosine kinase pathways, probably to assure optimal conversion extracellular signals into biological responses coupled cytoskeleton gene transcription. To date, best-known their role as GDP/GTP exchange factors for Rho/Rac molecules, strictly controlled by phosphorylation. publications indicate highly dependent on interaction adaptor aid proper phosphorylation proteins, other signaling modulating strength outputs. In addition factors, there increasing evidence suggesting can mediate cellular functions independently activities, working themselves molecules. review, we will give summary recent advances field, placing special emphasis non-catalytic its
