摘要: Immunoglobulin complexes, composed of heat-aggregated human Ig, were shown to bind mouse B lymphocytes a variety strains, but not either thymocytes or thymus-derived (T) under conditions. It was that this binding due natural antibodies against nor nonspecific Ig by lymphocytes. Such complexes the same sites which antibody-antigen complexes. This site is known as Fc receptor. The markedly inhibited pretreatment with anti-H-2 antisera. A series experiments indicated specificity result, including fact inhibition be artifact shedding H-2 steric inhibition. within antisera responsible for specific alloantigens associated Ir region complex (Ia antigens). Antiserum these Ia antigens produced inhibition, whereas determined K D regions did not. Evidence obtained using F1 hybrid cells at least some both parental types are expressed on every lymphocyte (i.e. codominant expression). These data indicate receptor and controlled identical closely B-lymphocyte surface membrane. observation may have implications mechanism control immune response.
