摘要: Arboviruses transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes are a growing global concern; however, there remain large gaps in surveillance of both arboviruses and their vectors West Africa. Recent arboviral become more concentrated urban areas, albopictus, region, has emerged as an important vector several areas. Seroprevalence surveys suggest reported gross underestimate underlying burden. These findings indicate shifting epidemiology Africa highlight need for increased research implementation control. Rapid urbanization climate change may further alter patterns, underscoring improved diagnostic capacity, to address this evolving health challenge.
