摘要: Various types of proliferating cell are known to express transferrin receptors which necessary for transferrin-mediated cellular iron uptake. Neither the mechanism nor physiological role receptor induction has been established with certainty; although it may reflect an increased requirement is essential ribonucleotide reductase, a key enzyme DNA synthesis. The aim this study was examine murine mammary gland transferrin-receptor levels during development. As compared virgin controls, total expressed on basis DNA, increase pregnancy and lactation by 29- 45-fold, respectively. However, ferritin, measured radioimmunoassay, decreased about 75% 85% lactation, respectively, indicating that probably do not lead intracellular accumulation. When epithelial cells from glands pregnant mice were cultured in vitro expression correlated proliferation. These results suggest normal growth occurs mainly associated significant receptor. Since remain high they solely tissue growth, but also function transporting milk production.
