摘要: Nanocomposites composed of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) filled with calcium carbonate particles nanometer scale were prepared by polymerizing the polyester in presence nanosized fillers. Besides plain carbonate, nanoparticles coated stearic acid also used, order to improve compatibility between polymeric matrix and nanofillers. Morphological analysis evidenced a good dispersion both nanopowders into PET matrix, especially case carbonate. The strong interfacial adhesion two phases is responsible for increase glass transition melting temperatures nanocomposites compared PET. Finally, non-isothermal crystallization studies revealed that CaCO3 nucleating agent Analysis data Ozawa theory was successful PET/un-CaCO3, but this method failed describe dynamic solidification PET/c-CaCO3 nanocomposite.
