摘要: Background and Purpose —Delayed cerebral ischemia (DCI) is a major cause of death disability in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. We studied the prognostic value for DCI 2 factors: duration unconsciousness after hemorrhage presence risk factors atherosclerosis. Methods —In 125 consecutive admitted within 4 days hemorrhage, we assessed neurological condition on admission, amount blood, size ventricles, history smoking, hypertension, stroke, or myocardial infarction. The relationship between these variables development was analyzed by means Cox proportional hazards model. Results —The univariate hazard ratio (HR) who had lost consciousness >1 hour 6.0 (95% CI 3.0 to 12.0) compared no loss <1-hour consciousness. any factor atherosclerosis yielded an HR 1.4 0.6 3.5). remained essentially same adjustment other DCI. poor World Federation Neurological Surgeons score (grade IV V) admission 2.9 1.5 5.5); that large blood CT 3.4 1.6 7.3). Conclusions strong predictor occurrence This observation may contribute better understanding pathogenesis increased attention at risk.
