摘要: Insofar as infection with human papillomavirus (HPV) and Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) are associated cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), the aim of this study was to assess correlation HPV CT in patients normal or abnormal cytology. Endocervical samples from (n=121; mean age 33.7+7.0) were assessed for DNA by PCR. While there no statistically significant difference between HPV-positive (n=44) HPV-negative (n=77) pregnancies, higher proportion smokers, multiple male sex partners, cytology seen vs. women, respectively. An rate 21/44 compared 11/77 patients. Within patients, CT-positive CT-negative regards risk factors studied. Collectively, suggests that a causal relationship development CIN disease.
