Synthesis and crystal structure of macrocyclic cavitand Cu‐curbit[5]uril and its supramolecular adduct with Cu(II)

摘要: The first supramolecular adduct (H3O)2[Cu(H2O)4](SO4)2·2(C30H30N20O10)·24(H2O) based on cucurbit[5]uril was synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. In the adduct, copper ion is coordinated four oxygen atoms from H2O. latter links two molecules due to a complicated hydrogen bonding containing lattice water molecules.
