摘要: Concentric electrode pairs of opposite polarity improve the efficiency a spark-gap acoustic source for marine seismic profiling. One pair is tubular; other rodlike and positioned axially within tubular electrode. Among benefits resulting from concentric configuration are constant output, directional control, high frequency, efficiency, repetition rate.
