摘要: The effect of melatonin pomegranate tree treatments on fruit quality and bioactive compounds with antioxidant activity at harvest during storage 10 °C for 60 days was assayed in two consecutive years, 2019 2020. In the first year, trees were treated 0.1, 0.3 0.5 mM along developmental growth cycle, results showed that (total phenolics total individual anthocyanins) higher fruits from melatonin-treated than controls. Other parameters, such as firmness, soluble solids aril red colour, also increased a consequence treatment. control tress, firmness acidity levels decreased storage, while increases occurred solids, leading to reductions. These changes delayed, even maintenance observed, respect controls, resulting shelf-life increase. Moreover, concentration anthocyanins maintained whole period. general, all mentioned effects found highest level 0.1 dose, then it selected repeating experiment second year confirmed. Thus, treatment could be useful tool enhance content health beneficial improve traits fruit, postharvest storage.
