摘要: Two experiments were performed to document the functional capacity of regenerated eighth cranial nerve. In experiment 1, nerve was sectioned preganglionically and allowed regenerate in a group bullfrogs with normal contralateral labyrinth. Posture reflex lateral tilt measured preoperatively postoperatively for minimum 3 months. Similar measures second which had been destroyed by ganglionectomy third peripheral labyrinthectomies.
