摘要: Abstract Admission to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a psychologically and physically distressing event for infants. Preterm infants suffer from higher rates of depression anxiety in childhood, adolescence, adulthood, likely, at least part, related experiences they have NICU. The parent-infant relationship paramount importance determining future trajectory both parent's infant's mental health, therefore it critically important assess support its development challenges parents face responding their preterm, ill fragile infants, strategies mitigate infant distress are outlined.
