THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ACCESSIBILITY AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXPLORED FOR THE REGION OF AMERSFOORT

摘要: A case study on the relationship between infrastructure and economic development had been carried out as part of research project 'economic spatial effects infrastructure'. In infrastructure, accessibility, performance employment is explored for Amersfoort region. Results are: (1) The at a regional level seems to be found in location choice behaviour companies. No evidence was better companies near motorways general; (2) so-called motorway sensitive activities perform exits; (3) advanced accessibility measures seem relate stronger with performance.
