摘要: Abstract This study investigates the action of central administration lectins isolated from Canavalia brasiliensis seeds (ConBr) and ensiformes seeds, (Concanavalin A, ConA) in forced swimming test (FST) mice. ConBr (1–10 μg/site, i.c.v.), but not ConA, produced a decrease immobility time FST (observed at points 15, 30, 60 120 min after injection), without changing locomotor activity open‐field test. The effect was dependent on its protein structure integrity. (0.1 μg/site, i.c.v.) caused potentiation fluoxetine, selective 5‐HT reuptake inhibitor. anti‐immobility elicited by (10 μg/site, prevented pretreatment mice with pindolol (32 mg/kg, 1A/1B receptor/β‐adrenoceptor antagonist), NAN‐190 (0.5 mg/kg, 1A receptor ketanserin (5 mg/kg, 2A/2C sulpiride (50 mg/kg, D 2 antagonist) or yohimbine (1 mg/kg, an α ‐adrenoceptor SCH 23390 (0.05 mg/kg, 1 prazosin antagonist). These results indicate that antidepressant‐like is interaction serotoninergic (via ), noradrenergic ‐adrenoceptors) dopaminergic receptors) systems. Considering presence brain based results, it will be important to determine possible role endogenous modulation nervous system function.
