Outbreak of Nocardia farcinica infection with the same pattern in randomly amplified polymorphic DNA analysis

摘要: We experienced three cases of nocardiosis by Nocardia farcinica in the same ward within a six-month period. The result gene analysis randomly amplified polymorphic DNA gave pattern. Thus, these were considered to be caused strain N. farcinica, implying presence nosocomial infection.
