摘要: Abstract Population growth and deteriorating health issues have led to an increase in the consumption of angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), such as losartan (LOR), for treating high blood pressure and, a result, frequent detection these drugs water wastewater. The present study focuses on oxidation LOR by UV photolysis, UV(/Fe2+)-activated persulfate (PS) hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) systems. effects operating parameters including pH value, reaction time, concentration oxidant activator efficacy treatment were studied. target compound degradation direct UV/PS UV/H2O2 systems proved be efficient followed pseudo-first-order kinetic model. application UV/oxidant even at lower PS or H2O2 concentrations resulted more than 95% 10 min.
