摘要: – Objectives: Previous research has shown that patients' evaluations of their prostheses correlate poorly with the clinicians' assessments, as well intraoral anatomic factors. It been recommended researchers conduct more studies use patient satisfaction primary outcome measure in treatment evaluation and attention be paid to understanding exactly what measures represent. In this study, relationship between ratings general perceptions different aspects mandibular is investigated. Methods: One hundred twenty subjects applied participate a randomized controlled clinical trial comparing two types prostheses: conventional dentures implant prostheses. At baseline, they were asked rate on 100 mm visual analog scales (VAS) factors edentulous patients indicated important them. These included comfort, ability chew, stability, esthetics, speak ease cleaning dentures. Subjects also addition, selected one quality denture considered most important. Results: Multiple regression methods revealed gender, chew contributed significantly (F < 0.0001). Furthermore, 89% variation was explained by these who factor associated rated higher than other (P 0.0003). Conclusion: Patient dental highly dependent appearance functionality appliance. The combined effect ratings.
