摘要: Dynamical downscaling by atmospheric Regional Climate Models (RCMs) forced with low-resolution data should produce fine scale climate details skill. This is investigated adopting and extending the Big-Brother approach of Denis et al. (2002). A reference established from a resolution RCM simulation in large domain (the Big-Brother). These (BB) are degraded removing small scales, then used for Little Brother) same as BB three domains different size. Differences between Little- attributed to errors caused downscaling. We have furthermore extended original method impact quality driving data. The manage reproduce general features when high data, but show deficiencies differ both phase BB. Forced lower on sufficiently integration regions influenced strong local forcing, significantly improve statistics variables (2 m air-temperature, 10 wind speed, precipitation). even found that improvement increased
